According to YunTing Law Firm’s announcement of 16 January 2025, Hainan HNA No. 2 Trust Management Services Co., Ltd. announced the results of its law firm selection process. Beijing YunTing Law Firm was among the first group admitted to its legal panel.
Project team
Li Shu participated in the project team, which was led by YunTing lawyer Liang Yuru and comprised lawyers experienced in advising central and other state-owned enterprises. The announcement states that the team would provide comprehensive legal services to the company and its affiliated businesses.
The client
Established in 2021, the company is the overall shareholding platform for the special-purpose services trust established in connection with HNA Group’s bankruptcy restructuring. Under the authorisations and arrangements of the trust’s beneficiaries’ meeting, management committee and trustees, it manages underlying assets and businesses spanning finance, manufacturing and asset management.
