On 13 March 2021, YunTing Law Firm held the second session of its programme for empowering in-house legal teams, asking how legal departments can make use of external resources. The event recorded more than 600 online and in-person attendances and invited twenty guests on site, including business leaders and in-house lawyers at different management levels.
Li Shu’s participation
Li Shu joined other speakers in discussing the role and professional development of in-house lawyers, selecting external counsel suited to the business, allocating work and coordinating between internal and external legal teams, and challenges encountered in legal practice.
Services and coordination
The event also introduced the firm’s approach to ongoing corporate advisory services, including legal consultation, compliance and internal controls, contract review and dispute risk management. The discussion emphasised effective collaboration between legal departments and external lawyers.
