On 30 January 2021, YunTing Law Firm held the first session of its programme for empowering in-house legal teams. It addressed the implications of the Civil Code and related judicial interpretations for corporate legal work. According to the report, more than 2,400 in-house legal professionals participated online and in person, with thirty-six guests attending on site. Presentations and discussion lasted approximately four and a half hours.

Li Shu explained the purpose of launching the forum series and delivered a presentation on professional growth and development for in-house lawyers. Drawing on team members’ experience as legal counsel and heads of legal departments at major companies, the discussion considered practical difficulties and career-development challenges.
Purpose of the series
Other speakers discussed employment, corporate guarantees, litigation and enforcement, and contract risks. The series was designed to connect professionals with corporate legal, law-firm, judicial and arbitration experience and provide opportunities for in-house lawyers to exchange experience and learn.
