On November 20, 2020, Li Shu delivered training on corporate compliance and litigation risk for legal and compliance personnel from Xinxing Cathay International Group and its affiliated businesses. More than 100 people attended online and in person.
The course considered the Civil Code ahead of its commencement, introducing its principal provisions and changes and examining their effects on commercial activities relevant to the group.
The discussion moved from the legal framework to the significance of the changes and practical responses. Case examples addressed corporate legal management and preparation for major disputes.
