On 12 June 2019, Li Shu spoke at YunTing’s 39th professional skills seminar about handling major, difficult and complex civil and commercial matters and improving the quality of legal services.
The seminar addressed understanding clients’ needs, screening matters, engagement discussions, progress updates, research and analysis, service quality, preparation, reporting, case reviews and follow-up services. These topics formed a practical framework for managing complex engagements.
Drawing on his experience, Li Shu discussed how standardized workflows, working templates, accumulated knowledge and support from a team and professional platform can improve case management and client communication. The event was open to lawyers and assistants both within and outside the firm.
