On 22 December 2023, Li Shu delivered training on preventing contractual legal risks for China National Chemical Engineering Group. More than 100 participants working in legal affairs, compliance and general management at the group and its subsidiaries attended online and in person.
The session covered contract management and review, the Civil Code’s contract framework and the judicial interpretation concerning the General Provisions of the Contract Book. It considered risks involving formation, validity, performance, preservation of contractual rights, assignment and liability for breach in the context of state-owned enterprises.
Using practical examples, Li Shu explained contract review methods and approaches to risk control, helping participants connect legal requirements with their everyday contract management responsibilities.
