On 29 September 2024, Li Shu delivered training for China National Chemical Engineering Group on significant and difficult practical issues under the new Company Law. More than 400 participants from the group and its subsidiaries, including legal, compliance, investment and corporate management personnel, attended online and in person.
Centered on issues relevant to state-owned enterprises, the program considered the law’s principal changes, the reasoning behind the revised rules and how companies can respond while strengthening compliance management.
Using examples from business operations, Li Shu discussed corporate capital and governance, rules governing directors, supervisors and senior managers, the protection of rights in investment and financing, and risk control for external guarantees issued by state-owned enterprises.
