On 22 December 2023, Li Shu delivered training on fictitious trade risks and compliance responses for China Coal Technology and Engineering Group. More than 100 legal, compliance, risk management, procurement and auditing personnel from the group and its subsidiaries participated online and in person.
The program addressed implementation of the 2023 notice regulating trade management at central state-owned enterprises and prohibiting fictitious trade, identified as Document No. 74. It reviewed the development of regulatory policies concerning financing-oriented and fictitious trade and the notice’s principal requirements.
Drawing on representative cases, Li Shu discussed practical approaches to identifying these risks, improving compliance management and developing legal responses within state-owned enterprises.
